Carrie excels in translating the executive vision into actionable plans, direction for teams, and the quantifiable goals, milestones, and success metrics necessary to turn complex strategies into impactful change.
Carrie's Experience Includes
Carrie Cross brings over a decade of strategic leadership in associations and non-profits. At the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), she led the operationalization of the company's multi year strategic plan working closely with the Board of Directors and Officers, created and launched of a new capability model for 10,000+ professionals and revitalized cross-departmental teams, positively impacting 30% of company revenue. Through her successful approach to considering organizational goals and team member capacity, she established new systems to improve communication, transparency, operational efficiency, and resource management.
Before CAS, she founded IMPACT Consulting, a global firm focused on helping organizations modernize their learning product and learning technology ecosystems. Carrie also spent 2 years as Senior Director, Learning and Workforce Development at the 16,000-member trade association National Retail Federation (NRF) where securing a $1M contract from Walmart and a $1.5M grant from the Walmart Foundation were key examples of her strength in cultivating partnerships and executing large-scale strategic initiatives.

Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict and a Master’s in Public Administration from George Washington University. She and her husband are the proud parents of three girls.
