There is one part of the writing/editing process that I really have a love/hate relationship with. The re-writes are always a tedious process. There is a lot of correction.
The process of reading your book over again and changing the things that are wrong. Then making sure what stays is at its best and makes the most sense. It is needed but it is also a long process.
I've been doing edits and re-writes on my second book for a while now. I would have been finished but I have been super swamped lately. (Personal things happening away from my desk) I've come to realize that this process is one of the most important parts of getting ready for publication. It is always difficult to put in the time. But, in the end it is so worth it!
Are you an author? If so what are your thoughts on the re-writing process?
