Leadership Across Sectors. Impact at Every Level

I bring strategic clarity and leadership to a wide range of industries and professions—through the lens of nonprofit and association work. I often partner directly with CEOs and executive teams, and am frequently asked to work with Directors to serve as the bridge between strategy and execution. No matter the field or role, I help leaders focus, collaborate, and deliver results—because effective leadership transcends context.

The examples below highlight the roles, industries, and professions I’ve worked with—demonstrating how deep experience in the nonprofit and association space can drive impact across a wide range of fields.

Retail

In the retail sector, I partnered with board members and senior executives—such as Chief Learning Officers, Heads of HR, and Talent Development leads—from national brands including Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Lowe’s, Kroger, and Levi’s. Together, we translated broad workforce goals into scalable, results-driven programs that aligned business priorities with social impact.

Healthcare

In the healthcare sector, I collaborated with senior leaders including Chief Learning Officers, Clinical Education Directors, HR executives, and Workforce Development strategists across major hospital systems and health networks. My work focused on aligning learning, leadership development, and talent strategy to support rapidly evolving clinical and operational priorities—helping organizations navigate change, build internal capability, and deliver better outcomes for patients and staff alike.

Goverment

In the government sector, I worked directly with senior public sector leaders—including Chief Human Capital Officers, Agency Training Directors, and Learning & Development executives—across federal, state, and local agencies. I led a Board of Directors composed of high-ranking officials from entities such as the Department of Defense, Social Security Administration, and Government Accountability Office, aligning their strategic goals with actionable workforce and learning initiatives.

Profession Experience

In the talent development profession, I collaborated with learning leaders, instructional designers, DEI strategists, and workforce planners to shape programs that supported capability building at scale. I partnered with professionals across corporate, nonprofit, and government settings to align learning strategy with business objectives, often facilitating cross-functional coordination between HR, operations, and executive teams. Working in this space required a strong grasp of learning theory and design, the ability to navigate competing priorities, and the skill to translate vision into execution through clear processes and sustained collaboration.

Talent Development

Actuaries

In the actuarial profession, I partnered with credentialed actuaries, academic leaders, and senior executives across insurance, finance, and risk management sectors to advance strategic priorities and strengthen cross-sector collaboration. I worked closely with volunteer boards, committees, and technical experts to align stakeholder goals, translate analytical insights into actionable strategy, and facilitate enterprise-wide execution. This work required synthesizing complex information, managing consensus among highly analytical professionals, and guiding initiatives that shaped the profession’s evolving role in industry leadership.
